Seth Hartig joined NCCP in 2014. As part of the Family Economic Security team, Seth provides research, writing assistance, data collection, and data analysis for the fact sheets, briefs, reports, and academic papers produced by the team. He manages several publicly available tools on NCCP's website, including the Family Resource Simulator, the Basic Needs Budget Calculator, and the 50-State Policy Tracker. He also researches grant opportunities, provides grant writing support, and helps coordinate proposal submissions from the Family Economic Security team. Prior to his job at NCCP, Seth worked in the development departments within several New York City nonprofit organizations, including five years at The Fortune Society.

Seth holds an MA in Economics from The New School for Social Research and a BA in History from Macalester College.
